NEWS

We are pleased to share with you a new product that we found at TNNA a few weeks ago that we think is wonderful. The product is Lavisha Lotion Bars. It is a solid lotion bar that melts into your skin as you rub it on. It comes in a variety of scents and even one unscented. As a trial we picked the 4 that we personally liked the best but there are many others so if we have a good response to them we will be offering more scents in the future.

The three things that attracted us to this product were, it is all natural, it leaves your skin soft and moisturized without any greasy residue which makes it perfect for crafter's and because it is a solid it is easy to carry and easy to pack. It was designed by the wife of an airline pilot who wanted to be able to carry something with him that would go through security and not spill although with the recent problems I am not actually sure if you can carry this in a carry on bag. It is about the size of a hockey puck and comes in a metal tin and weighs only 2.5 oz.

Perfect for you and perfect for a gift.

We have also added two new wrap patterns from Y2Knit. I got to try both of these on at TNNA and loved them both. Beads seemed to be the hot theme for the spring knits and the Maglia Wrap has instructions to add in beads while you are knitting.

If you want to try your hand at adding beads to your work then you need some supplies. Click on the notions button and purchase beading needles and a mat. We love these needles and talked to a knitter at the show who recommended that we try them. The needle opens in the middle to allow you to put your yarn through. There are several ways of knitting wit beads but the easiest is to string the beads on to your yarn before you start your project and then push up a bead when you are ready for it.

Happy Knitting
